As the Kinder Houston Area Survey begins its fourth decade of systematic annual research into the experiences, attitudes and beliefs of area residents, it has expanded beyond Harris County to reach a representative sample of respondents from the entire 10-county metropolitan region.

Rice University Sociology Professor Stephen Klineberg, co-director of the Kinder Institute for Urban Research, will officially release the findings from this year’s survey, and consider their implications for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
